PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I have the Charizard left in a Pokéball by Leon and I want to use it but I can't find a good way to level it up. I think the wild Pokémon are too high level and I don't want to use candies. Are there any other ways apart from Pokemon camp for me to get Charizard to a high level?

You can have the Charmander in your party, but battling Pokemon with your team that beat the Champion, (which will be the same level as the wild Pokemon,) and it will still gain tons of experience
thanks.i guess the things that i stated were the only other ways

You can have gym leader rematches at the final city in the game (Wyndon) where the stadium is and you will gain a lot of exp hopefully this helps :)

Wyndon is its name, where you participate in the Tournament-style "league" battles.

if you make a lot of curry in Pokemon camp you get xp and you can make other Pokemon battle but if charizard is in your party it gets xp (your party is where you put Pokemon that you battle with)

while it is possible to get exp from curry, it is INCREDIBLY inefficient. farming raids for exp candies outclass curry exp by a large margin.
have you ever made milcery class curry its so good it sparkles
i don’t even like max raid battles, also have you tried one without playing with other people. it’s impossible.
i don't really care about curry or exp candies because curry gives little exp and max raids are hard
