Gen 9 Monotype Taunt + Swords Dance (Bug)

Lokix @ Black Glasses
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Swords Dance
- Throat Chop
- Sucker Punch

A Taunt + Swords Dance set to be used on Bug teams in Gen 9 Monotype. Taunt is used to shutdown defensive Pokemon such as Clodsire, Ting-Lu, Gastrodon, and Toxapex. Swords Dance boosts your attack and lets you take advantage of the switches Lokix forces by shutting down defensive Pokemon with Taunt. Throat Chop is for Dark STAB. Sucker Punch provides Lokix with a priority Dark STAB. Black Glasses is used as the item since both of Lokix's attacks are Dark-type moves, with Black Glasses boosting their power without drawbacks. This set doesn't really need more coverage, as Tinted Lens with +2 Attack can OHKO resists.

Wall of Calcs:

+2 252 Atk Black Glasses Tinted Lens Lokix Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Meowscarada: 310-366 (105.8 - 124.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 Atk Black Glasses Tinted Lens Lokix Throat Chop vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Roaring Moon: 350-414 (99.7 - 117.9%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO (Stealth Rock/Spikes up gaurantees an OHKO)

+2 252 Atk Black Glasses Tinted Lens Lokix Throat Chop vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Chien-Pao: 318-376 (105.6 - 124.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO (+2 Sucker Punch can OHKO non-Heavy-Duty Boots Chien Pao with a hazard up.

+2 252 Atk Black Glasses Tinted Lens Lokix Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Iron Jugulis: 262-310 (79.6 - 94.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252 Atk Black Glasses Tinted Lens Lokix Throat Chop vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Ting-Lu: 218-258 (42.4 - 50.1%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Also, Taunt + Swords Dance Lokix beats Toxapex late game, which is something Choice Band Lokix can't really do. Enjoy using this set! :)

How much are moves boosted from tinted lens?
All attacks get boosted by Tinted Lens if used on a Pokemon who resist the attacks.
I know that I'm asking how much are they boosted
Ah. Moves boosted by Tinted Lens deal double damage.
So basically, moves boosted by tinted lens cancels out the "not very effective" and does neutral damage

Gen 9 Monotype Choice Band (Bug)

Lokix @ Choice Band
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- First Impression
- Throat Chop
- Sucker Punch
- U-turn

The standard Choice Band set for Bug teams in Gen 9 Monotype. Choice Band Tinted Lens makes it harder for Pokemon to switch into Lokix's STAB moves. First Impression is used for priority Bug STAB. Sucker Punch is used for priority Dark STAB. Throat Chop is used for Dark STAB with a bit more power than Sucker Punch should you need to use a stronger Dark STAB. Throat Chop is also nice to have so you don't have to play Sucker Punch mind games as much. U-turn is used for a Bug STAB that allows you to pivot and escape from Pokemon you cannot beat such as Toxapex.

This one is quite different Imo.
Most people expect a choice banded First Impression, then switch out. This set allows you to use its other ability and hopefully pick up some KO's
Lokix @ Focus Sash
Ability: Swarm
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leech Life
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Trailblaze
Swords Dance while they try and find a way to live a First Impression(Rookie Mistake) and you Swords dance. You can either go for a trailblaze to outspeed fast Pokemon like Chien Pao, or you can keep on going with Swords dance.

Item: Wide Lens
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Tera: Dark
-Bounce/Throat Chop
-Axe Kick
-Leech Life
-Agility/Swords Dance

Bounce Deals with bug types but Throat Chop is for a Tera Boosted attack. Axe Kick is just an amazing move to have. Leech Life restores HP. Agility boost speed stat, but swords dance boost attack. I think doing Adamant nature and Agility is better than Jolly and Swords Dance, but they both work! Wide Lens is used for Axe Kick and Bounce, to boost the accuracy. Tera Dark to only have 3 weaknesses (Bug, Fighting, and Fairy), and Bounce deals with two of them (Bug and Fighting) but throat can still be used.

Gen 9 Monotype Swords Dance (Dark)

Lokix @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Tinted Lens
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- First Impression
- Swords Dance
- Leech Life
- Sucker Punch

Lokix has a niche on Dark teams of being able to do well against opposing Dark teams. First Impression is used as a prioirty Bug STAB that is useful for revenge killing fast Pokemon. Swords Dance boosts Lokix's attac stat and is useful should Lokix either forces switches or find an opportunity vs Pokemon such as Ting-Lu. Leech Life is used for the Bug STAB that doesn't rely on being used on the first time since it also recovers HP. Sucker Punch is used for a Dark STAB that also allows Lokix to revenge kill fast Pokemon after the first turn Lokix is sent out. Heavy-Duty Boots is used to prevent Stealth Rock from chipping Lokix since Dark teams have no form of hazard removal. Tinted Lens allows Lokix's moves to become harder to switch into. Adamant Nature is used to give Lokix's Attacks as much power as possible.

Lokix @ life orb
Ability: Tinted Lens
Tera type: dark
EVs: 252 hp / 4 atk / 252 def
Impish or adamant Nature
- swords dance
- sucker punch
- leech life
- taunt

With this set were making lokix tank so they can take a few hits before getting down
With average speed sets lokix survives usually at one or two turns
With this set it is a sucker punch sweeper set with swords dance for boost plus dark Tera for damage
For safety measures against set up mons taunt comes in handy
Leech life is for gaining hp to keep surviving in longer
