Gholdengo has the ability Good As Gold, which prevents status moves from affecting it. The move Hold Hands is a status move that targets the Pokemon beside it in a double battle. So, if Gholdengo and another Pokemon were in a double battle, the move Hold Hands was used. Would Gholdengo be affected? The main point of the question is whether Good As Gold only considers preventing adverse or all status effects. I tried doing this on Pokemon Shodown but no Pokemon learn Hold Hands and Anything Goes Doubles doesn't exist.

It seems no, that Hold Hands would not work. However Hold Hands isn't usable in Gen IX. Also it does nothing.

Generation IX
Hold Hands is programmed into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but cannot be used in a battle as no available Pokémon can learn it, and it cannot be called by Metronome.

Gholdengo exists only in gen 9, so it can't be targeted by hold hands.
