About me:

General:
After discovering how great Pokemon is with Sword and Shield, I've grown to enjoy the franchise quite a bit. I've played generations 1 (Let's Go Eevee), 8 (Shield/Sword), & 9 (Violet), with my partner Pokemon for each being Venusaur, Coalossal/Lapras, and Garganacl, respectively. I choose my partners based on design, not competitive viability.
Competition:
Speaking of competition though, I mostly ignore the strategies that people claim are the most viable in favor of using Pokemon I actually like, which has been relatively successful. I often end up with underused strategies (such as Sturdy Garganacl instead of Purifying Salt) and weird EV spreads, some of which I don't even know the numbers on, but they still work and sometimes seem to baffle my opponents.
Future:
Currently waiting on Scarlet/Violet DLC, which I expect to be good but not worth the wait. I would love to play a remake of Generation 5 and/or 6; I'd really like a chunk of extra content/difficultly, and QOL improvements are appreciated but take second place to new content. Asking for more content for games I haven't played may seem strange, but its because I'd like to experience Unova/Kalos in the most definitive manner possible, since I've heard/researched many good things about both.
